Factory audio system pre-out modification

Is anyone currently working on a line level pre-out modification for the factory Sync 2 and/or 3 audio system?

If not, does anyone have a schematic diagram or block diagram of the system so I can get started?

Many vehicles have pre-out solutions developed by enthusiasts like you and me. Let's make sure the current generation Mustang gets the same treatment.

BTW, before anyone suggest a line out converter, please don't.

There are a number of topics on this already.

The premium cars have line level inputs going to the factory amp. I will be using factory molex connectors to plug into that harness and soldering on RCA leads to go into a JBL MS-8 for processing.

With that said though, I do think that info should probably be a sticky. The threads that have that information are scattered about, and the thread titles might not really reflect the information contained in the thread.

youre speaking mumbo jumbo to me, but i know I need a solution to hook up my amp and sub in my gt premium...lol

This is encouraging. Do you have any links to the other threads?

I tried searching, all I found was a bunch of people tapping into the rear speaker lines with LOCs for their sub woofers
