Fabric Top Sun Protection?

Was about to spray my Mustang Convertible Top with 303 Fabric Guard when I read the instructions and it said do not use on Vinal…. So what type of top do we have on 2019 Gt Convertible….and please tell me what brand of convertible top Sun block do you guys use.
I live in Texas so I need the best money cab buy…

Your top should be cloth and it is manufactured by Haartz. Haartz recommends RaggTopp, which is what I use.

All the S550 convertibles have a cloth top, and 303 can be used on it. It’s what I, and many others, use.

I have used ragg top on my mustangs for the past 10 years in texas.no issues that were weather rel.

Your 2019 GT Convertible has a fabric top. Here is a photo of my 2019 GT Convertible's top following a rain after cleaning it with 303 Tonneau & Convertible Top Cleaner, then two applications of 303 Fabric Guard.

Some folks here brush it on. Some of us spray it on. Most recently, I have sprayed it on, then rubbed it in with a disposable plastic glove, to get it into the fabric instead of sitting on the surface.

303 For me. It’s all about prep work.

1. Vacuum top.
2. Clean top with 303 cleaner. Use a soft bristle brush.
3. Wash the rest of car. Allow top to air dry.
4. Vacuum top again.
5. Prep car, cover windows and paint.
6. Run a lint roller over top.
7. Spray 303 fabric protection.
8. Work in with a brush, and then mist.
9. Allow an hour before removing protective coverings.
10. Let cure for 24 hours.

Both RaggTopp and 303 are good products. During the 17 years that I had my 03 Cobra vertn I used both. Those cars had the canvas tops vs. GTs that used vinyl. The canvas came from Jaguar, owned by Ford at the time. With those products, it still looked new when I said goodbye.
