I just received a Steeda expansion tank and attempted to "dry fit" the cap from my stock tank.
It took four turns of the cap to remove it from the stock tank. At four turns on the Steeda tank, the cap became very tight, but there are still threads showing under the cap.
So--
Is this normal?
Should I try to tighten the cap more?
I do have an email in to Steeda with the above questions. The neck of the Steeda tank in my possession has more threads than the stock tank.
Thank you,
Bob
