I took my 2020 GT500 CFTP to Laguna Seca and was already 2s faster than my 2016 350R was there. Im running 1:44:06 my first time out. There's plenty left in it.

Unfortunately i had to short shift and go constant speed between turn 5-6, even though it was a 103db day. I had the car in "Track" mode and put the exhaust in Normal or Sport.... but when you go wide open throttle, I think it opens the exhaust to "Track" exhaust mode. I got black flagged for it, i tried at the end of a session.

Does anyone make an exhaust valve override / controller for the 2020 GT500? I'd like to go to 93db days, like i did in my GT350R with the AWE exhaust controller. And id like to open it up a bit on 103db days.

Do I need aftermarket exhaust? Or do they all use the stock signals for their valves?

Im going to get Laguna Pipes made to point the sound to the left, but the exhaust controller would be nice.

Just put the car in say Sport or Normal then pull the connector on the valves under the car. That locks them in that position.

Plug them back in after the track day.

Nice! It still allows you to go into track mode? Doesn’t put the car in a limp mode or anything?

Doesnt on my 2018 Bullitt. Unless the Shelby's are more picky for some reason. All I get is a dash message that Active Exhaust isn't working.
