The Jones muffler is pretty good for flow. If you are wanting to change sound adding the X pipe after will do that.I dunno just throwing ideas out there, not the brightest when it comes to this car stuff![]()

Any sound clips of this setup? I'm second guessing if I should go with this or add the smaller bottle style resonators to my x pipeThanks again to everyone for the discussion and info shared in this thread. Got my exhaust setup finished today after ordering the Steeda 3" catback system during their BF sale.
Asked a local shop to weld all the components together and modify the Steeda pipes to work with the Jones MF2469 X muffler in place of the Steeda X-pipe.
Sounds great and not too loud at all considering how free flowing the system should be. I had a terrible resonance at ~2500RPM with the stock catback + Kooks LTH which has been eliminated.
Can't wait to let it rip on track next season!

Looks great! I got a x pipe connector for my kooks headers from a friend and I’m planning to add the resonator right after it for a “dual x pipe” setup.Ghost watcher of this thread for a long time, got educated and swapped out the stock adapters for the Kooks headers to the 3” adapters into the Jones MF2469, reduced after the muffler back to 2.5” for the Roush active in the back. Plan to swap the rest later to another 3” active, but night and day difference. Car went from ear piercingly loud to barely louder than stock. really curious to see if it’ll push me below 103db for track days. Uploading more in depth videos on YouTube with before and after this weekend.![]()

You put some effort into those welds.got educated and swapped out the stock adapters for the Kooks headers to the 3” adapters into the Jones MF2469, reduced after the muffler back to 2.5”
