Hey y'all. I'm new to the community, so I'm hoping this is the right place to post this. I'm trying to decide on an exhaust setup for a Gen 3 coyote, and I'd like some opinions. I'm looking for something with a deep, heavy tone with as little rasp as possible (I don't really care about drone.... at least not yet). I also can't go too big on price so AWE, Borla, Magnaflow etc are not options for me. Any suggestions/direction would be greatly appreciated.

These are some of the systems I've looked at/heard video clips of. What do y'all think of them in terms of deepness: Flowmaster Outlaw AB (my first choice at the moment), MBRP Street Catback, MRT Interceptor catback, MBRP muffler delete, C&L Sport AB, and Nxt Step AB (might be a lil too tame for me).

Flowmaster drone is terrible. MBRP has a nice tone to it. If you have active exhaust, a simple resonator delete with an h pipe gives a nice tone too. That’s what I’ll be doing with mine.

Here is what I can say. On my 2019 it came with the full MBRP, I went to a Borla Stype and preferred it. That being said, those full systems are $$$ if you arent going FI. This go around I did the Switchfire, which is deeper than stock and loud startup. And Im adding a Roush axle back soon, which is SOP around here (resonated delete and axle back). IIRC, Xpipe is a higher sound and maybe slightly more power, H pipe is a deeper sound. So I would say H pipe and axle back.

Weld in some Dynomax Race Bullets and couple them with an h-pipe for a budget friendly deep sound. I added the race bullets on my ‘03 Cobra and they sounded great.

The Steeda axle back is loud. I run one with their x-pipe and some LTHs. Before the Steeda axle back, I was running the factory active exhaust and while it was loud (in sport and track mode), it was nothing like the Steeda axle back.

It’s a very nice deep tone with their h-pipe! Plus It doesn’t break the bank like some of the other systems!

FM drone is horrible. Consider AWE, Corsa or almost anything else with anti drone design.

I have the mbrp street aluminized exhaust on my car and just welded on two flow master fx 71419 mufflers on after the h pipe to quite it down a bit more. It still has some bark to it. Currently happy with the setup for the price it is hard to beat.

Got any video of it in action, so we can hear it? I’ve been thinking about adding a couple of resonators after my x-pipe to tame it down just a bit.

Sorry, but I don’t have any clips of it. It didn’t change too much just made it 10-20% quieter. If you think you want it just a bit quieter than it would be worth a try. Whether it is the vibrant brand like many use or another brand ( they all are fairly similar in design). I chose the flowmaster fx because it fit in the space I had between the h pipe and the bends going back to the rear axle. Also it was available at Summit Racing 10 minutes from me.

Fwiw. I thought the stock mbrp street was too loud for me as a everyday exhaust. I tried a magnaflow tru x on stock mufflers and it was just a bit too quiet. I have not tried any other exhaust setups.
