I'm a new owner of a 2015 GTPP. My last car was a 2013 Boss 302 that was devastatingly totaled. One of the things I loved most about that car was the exhaust note with the restrictor plates off. Moreover, when running the track key the lumpy idle and slight backfire it would do when slowing in a low gear. How can I replicate these attributes in my new car?

Ford racing sells a boss style x-pipe for the 15 that has the two side exiting exhaust pipes. That should almost exactly replicate the sound you are looking for. The lumpy idle could be achieved via a tune.

Yeah, I have the Boss H pipe and a muffler delete on my 12. Love it. The H pipe really added a nice tone.

Spend 100$ have a shop do the muffler delete and leave resonator, sounds identical to the boss but a little louder. You really get the little backfire when letting off the gas and a very Race like tone at high RPMs.
