All I can think of is each dealer gets an allocated amount of Mustangs so if like me you wonder into a very big Ford Dealership and order you may have to wait until the next available car the dealer has been allocated (mine two months down the list). Some may have gone to smaller yards and literally got an allocation straight away hence the 12 month wait group??Hey OZDAZ5.0 thats 2 months from when you ordered till ford put it in. I know when I placed my order the dealer I went through was very adamant that the order had to be in on a deadline or it would be missed till next available slots. Perhaps that was the case with yours, even still its 2 months extra clocked onto the already long wait from your initial order date. Touch wood all will move quickly for yours ASAP and you will make the next boat. Happy days ahead
Sturty91 wouldn't hurt to ask them at all. when I did the dealer provided a printout of the information they had. The Page had NSC, Dealer order, Vin, Order date, sido etc. was a handy little piece of info to have.
My dealer did say he would have the car 15th of October but I think your more accurate and it may only just be in port then... thats nearly 16 months from order to getting the car :frusty::frusty::frusty: some have received cars in 10 months so yup....that shits me...Ok so yours should be in the country roughly the 15th October to the Docks in Perth. Mine was a eta of the 20th August, I thought that was to the dealer but it turned out to be eta 20th to port Kembla NSW.
So at rough guess by looking at the shipping Schedules your car should be on the Tiger (voyage No:CF627-TIG IMO No: 9505039 Call sign: 9HA2271) departing Baltimore on the 5th Sep 16 and arriving at Fremantle WA 14th October 16, lol if im reading this correctly.
Jesus :/ after seeing this I've emailed my dealer asking had it been put into the system yet
I'll be glad when we're all talking about our ponys and not about getting them here!!My dealer did say he would have the car 15th of October but I think your more accurate and it may only just be in port then... thats nearly 16 months from order to getting the car :frusty::frusty::frusty: some have received cars in 10 months so yup....that shits me...
And Id love to "HOPE" I get on the Tysla.....
Are they telling you they don't have one yet?I know I'm only new to this but what if you can't get a four digits order code from your dealer?
The salesman is telling me that he's never seen an order number for any Mustang. He said maybe the manager did but he's never seen one or seen it on the Ford system. Are they telling you they don't have one yet?
If so, I believe you may just have to wait until one is available. I'm not sure how long it takes from order before they can supply one. I only asked my dealer last month (Ordered August 2015) and he gave it to me and then Ford Aus provided me with the VIN. The dealer actually provided me with the VIN the day after.
Tell the salesman its called either the NSC or SIDO numberThe salesman is telling me that he's never seen an order number for any Mustang. He said maybe the manager did but he's never seen one or seen it on the Ford system.

I share your pain mate....like I said earlier I have the "lost in the system" the "fallen through the cracks" sorry we can't find it car :frusty:I'll be glad when we're all talking about our ponys and not about getting them here!!
Seeing how Ford has had so much time to get this sorted so that the export flow should now be so much faster, I HOPED Tamerlane, expected Tysla, thought it has to be Tiger, will be UNHAPPY with Talisman!!!
Sooo Deysha tells me today that my pony built back on the 20th July was released last Wednesday but hasn't been moved to dispatch yet, but shouild be in the next few days!!!!! Check back again next week:frusty:
What the???
I'll be LUCKY if it's ONLY 16 months!!
Sorry ranting again, this wait is FUN:doh:
Stock Controller would be the person the salesman will need to go too.Tell the salesman its called either the NSC or SIDO number
If he doesnt know, you would hope someone at the dealership would know how the order system for ford works.
