Once your is loaded onto a boat and set sail.......FoA will email you and advise that your car has just been built and heading to the Port of Baltimore.

Unfortunately they are tad slooooooooow in the communications department.

My car was built on Jun 20, shipped on July 26 and arrives in Melbourne Aug 30.

I have had absolutely no communication from Ford Australia, other than what I have initiated through Facebook.

Not to worry, they couldn't tell me anything I don't already know.

Same here, no communication from Ford. Not that you really need it as you can get all the information you need through the links here. In fact i know more about where the car is then them.

Well it appears that Ford AU have different processes depending on how you contact them. I don't have a Facebook account, so used the email address and got this in reply:

Thank you for your e-mail to Ford Motor Company of Australia Limited (Ford Australia).
In response to your enquiry, we can advise that the Ford Customer Relationship Centre only has limited information on the order of your Ford Mustang. We suggest that you contact the Sales Manager at Blacklocks Ford in Wodonga directly as they are in the best position to assist you with the tracking / estimated delivery date of your vehicle.
We trust this is of assistance.

The dealer isn't a problem, just not very proactive. So unless I create a Facebook account, or chase the dealer week after week, no VIN for me :(

My dealer told me my NSC code. You should be able to get it from yours. Then the rest you can do yourself.

The dealer gave me the NSC code as well. But when I sent it to Ford they gave me the cold shoulder.

Oh well – I'm sure it will get here eventually.

Got my VIN today so looked up the Window Sticker and the blend says 120160804.

Does that mean it was built 4th August?
