Just received my VIN number from dealer. Straight away went looking for the window sticker, blend date this Monday. Daily ritual is to spend quite a bit of time on this forum, shared info makes this journey one to remember. My add on list keeps growing, over the top white stripes first!

What colour did you order? Sounds like you got bumped back a bit for the 'end of run' colours (like mine - oops).

Seems fairly normal to me. I've always been expecting 15months, so it's right on schedule!

I got confirmation from Ford Service that:

Your Mustang was built on built July 29th, and released from the plant August 1st. It actually arrived at the port where it will ship out yesterday. Unfortunately, we're not able to track it past this point. I recommend checking with your dealer or Ford Australia at +61(0) 386 276182.

Where do I put my VIN on http://www.2wglobal.com/?
Is it Booking ID /Cargo Number/ Bill of Landing No/ Customer Reference?

Tried all of the fields above but I got "No Record Found".
Does that mean that my car is still on the docks waiting for a ship?

Cargo ID - enter your VIN.

Next ship is Tamerlane on the 17th Aug so don't expect anything to show up in Track and Trace until a few days before.

2wglobal field for the VIN will also do partial VINs so if you want to see it working drop your vin in and delete the last 2-4 numbers.

What a relief. Finally got my VIN number today. 11 months after order. (Not bad)
Least I know its only 12 more weeks or less before I finally meet my baby and feel the joy that others have already felt.
