  1. Cars booked on the TIGER - Departing September 4

Believe me I thought the same, but I can now say that the car is in the garage and it's well worth the wait. Pick up went smooth, took the car out for 100km round trip & smiles all round. Dam my pony was hungry with 100's of bugs splattered on the bumper. Only 21km on the clock, happy with that...
  2. Cars booked on the TIGER - Departing September 4

Hallelujah after 52 days post the car landing off this ship in Auckland, transportation has finally dropped it off at Ford today. Man the wait has been painful after so many delays. Garage was cleared in anticipation a long time ago. We were to have stripes & front sensors installed prior to...
  3. GRABBER BLUE S550 MUSTANG Thread

Unfortunately my partner doesn't like black stripes... LOL My darling wife said I could have a new mustang but only on the condition it must have stripes and that I could choose any colour as long as they are white. :hail: Please post some pics when it's done :-) Leaving our adult...
  4. GRABBER BLUE S550 MUSTANG Thread

thats awesome options on the scale model,we've decided on the white stripes, 2000mm instead of the pics which appear to be 2500mm, going on prior to pick up next Saturday.
  5. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

Thanks mate, dam am i'm even more excited to pick up my car next week. Thats near 100kw gain at the flywheel & I'm loving that CTB badge. I'll post my dyno result up once in hand. :D:D
  6. GRABBER BLUE S550 MUSTANG Thread

Over the top silver stripes would top the nickel wheels. Can be hard to tell from photos, better with or without the black/nickel wheel combo will be a personal choice. No doubt if you want to swap the wheels with another new owner it wouldn't be a problem. I'm sure you'll stay though with the...
  7. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

Hi Tom, thanks for the post. My car has been back logged at CTB after arriving off the boat 1st October. Apparently there was delays with parts for the Stage 3 Plus upgrade, with my car completed this week also, pick up next week. Any chance of posting up the dyno run:cheers:
  8. GRABBER BLUE S550 MUSTANG Thread

Hi Guys, a dealer here in NZ has a GB for sale with nickel wheels, full body shots http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/ford/auction-1199273961.htm
  9. MT82 and power level limits

Hi Guys, My car is at CTB presently, as I've gone down this route, referred to as Stage 2 Plus (Team Hutchinson Ford Mustang Upgrades). I've chosen this upgrade pre delivery as i'm after a louder exhaust note than stock without any guaranteed drone, and with power gains being a real bonus...
  10. Australian spec Mustang owners photos

Haha you're not wrong. I've opened the garage quite a few times just to check that it is still as awesome as the 4 seconds ago that I last looked. I expected a good looking, fun to drive car. I didn't expect it to be this amazing though. Some angles of the car you just can't do justice with in...
  11. Waiting times may increase??

Hi Paul, From what I can tell there are 8 secondhand V8 S550's on the market currently with asking prices in the order of $72 - $78k depending on miles. A couple with mods done are asking about $85k. Of note we pay the same here for a manual or auto new.
  12. Waiting times may increase??

A stock 5.0 here in NZ is now $79,000 more or less drive away. Its not cheap living in Godzone, 95 octane petrol is $2.00 litre, 98 octane I believe is another 10 cents litre. If it wasn't for you Aussies, I cant imagine we'd have a right hand drive option, so :cheers:to you chaps. You are the...
  13. Stasik's Ghost

Stasik - what's the width of each main stripe?
  14. Stasik's Ghost

Man those narrow pin stripes are hot hot hot on your pony. Good job.
  15. Picked up my Grabber Blue GT

Grabber Blue fun facts - credit to The Great Gazoo whose post I've copied this info from: - Was initially introduced in 1969 as an exclusive colour for Shelby Mustangs (all Grabber colours were that year). The Grabber colours were such a hit Ford put them in "regular" production cars in 1970...
  16. Picked up my Grabber Blue GT

I'm not so sure as the colour is a look at me one, I'd love to know order numbers, may end up as a short run like CO. Local dealer has just got in one of the last CO made, I'd pay extra for this colour, it looks dam fine. I think grabber blue needs stripes, I'll post some pics when I get the car.
  17. Cars booked on the Tamesis departing 18th October

I thought I would start the thread for cars booked on the Tamesis departing 18th October. I thought this day would never come but finally can start to get excited at the same time as becoming more anxious on the wait:doh: Great news Ange
  18. Picked up my Grabber Blue GT

Great pics, I'm thinking its the best colour, fair to say I'm a bit bias. That said I haven't seen a colour I dislike. It's a colour people love or hate by the postings I've read. I just cant wait to see it for the first time in person, white over the top stripes makes it. Have a look at Grabber...
  19. Cars booked on the TIGER - Departing September 4

Thanks Martin, discharged off boat 10.47am yesterday. Close but yet remains 1000km away. I'm booked in for FPRP Stage 2 Plus tune/full exhaust, stripes, front sensors all before pick up. A month to wait likely. You should be sitting in your 5.0 earlier, given the 14 month timeframe for you...
