My guess is that he doesn't want to pay for their tune if planning on another tuner. Not that he can't stopped from retuning it, but not wanting to pay for them to tune just the install. Like Robvas implied it's a waste on money.

I can see where the shop is coming from though. Stops the finger pointing. Just like installing parts that the customer provides...

Bringing this back up. I am about an hour from a place called Juggernaut Performance here in CT. I have heard great things about their installations and mixed reviews for their tuning. I think Terry/Beefcake Racing uses them for tuning. Anyone have any feedback for them?

Yes I’ve read that thread. But others have said they had a good experience hence my question.

Are you choosing them for any reason other than they are only 1 hour away?

Either way, if they can tune the car in person on a dyno at their location you should have the best chance of them doing a good job.

but don't be afraid of an email tune especially on a basic ESS setup. 500 different monkeys on Facebook could get that going
