I think it has to do with ESS telling people to used a shared vacuum/boost source, that also ties to the brake booster. This is a no no in my book.
How do you have yours set up? Curious

as promised, toon the cover over and got as much detail as i could off the pictures. please let me know if you see anything off.

thank you guys

Cap the port in the front center here for now. There should be a hose connected that port to the other small line capped in that pack of 2 you have capped.

This is how it should look as far as the capped line and open line I was talking about. If your IMRC are locked out you might have to have the front part of that hose capped but you need to cap the open port on the intake for sure. Cap that and start your car and it should be good to go.

Well they found your problem. Look at that. No way your fuel trims are normal with that thing uncapped.

i thought that was a little odd. sending it over to my shop and tuner. going to see if they want me to cap it or run the hose over to it

I have a similar catch as OP. I reused the 5/8" 90 degree quick connect from the original PCV line, cut off the hard plastic tube, and ran a short section of 5/8" hose to a barbed reducer, then 3/8" line over to my vacuum block.

Start the engine and see if there is vacuum on that silver port.

tuner said after revision he doesnt see any issues. idles much better than original. only thing hes going to adjust now is the idle at operating temp since it was a little higher. i was told that spot is closed but i will grab something to cap it off

So you didn’t change anything and it runs better all of a sudden lol? Or you capped that open port and it idles good now? I don’t understand how you could possibly have that just open to air and how the car would run very good period.
