That was said like a guy with a regular mustang. lol
I know your comment had an elitist tone to it that was intentional, but trying to flex on me is laughable. But you are right I have a regular mustang, just like you guys. Only difference is that it doesn't bother me like it does you guys.

I have ordered new motor mounts, my question is, I saw in the service manual I am supposed to raise the engine with a motor support system that attaches in the fenders, has anyone use the harbor freight one? Or should I spend a couple hundred in a different brand?

Thanks again!
I used this one from Amazon. Already had it for my BMWs... but it will fit pretty much any vehicle. If you are in Colorado, you are more than welcome to borrow it.

My 2016 350R is on the lift in the garage, so I went out and checked. Both left and right have a blue cover on them. The cover is a rather flimsy rubber-ish cover. Not seeing any heat rejection material in there at all. The mount underneath the blue cover is black.

I'm going to guess that when they R&R'd the motor, they probably damaged the blue cover and didn't replace it (not sure why they would).

As for the rocking, it is quite possible that one (or both) of the mounts are loose. Getting a socket on the top nut is pretty easy from above. Getting on the lower one, without the car in the air, looks like it might be a challenge.
what a nightmare man, sorry you had to go through that, especially after getting such a sweet ride, if your in texas, tomball ford does a great job on cars and they will take care of you, sterling mccall ford in stafford works on super expensive cars alot too, even ford gt's best of luck!

It's different from a GT as a GT is different from a V6. But make no mistake, it's just a regular mustang.
no theres major differences with compatibility on parts from alot of random stuff including small things like suspension and brakes especially with the magneride ones

So glad I clocked that dumb statement about a "regular mustang" as soon as it was made, lots of entertainment from this thread 🤣

OP you are entirely justified with wanting to ensure a shop knows there are differences between the GT350 and a GT. One could be faced with a 30k bill if they treat it like a "regular mustang."
