I get it, but I don't see why it would be a thing. What cars are front engined, transversely mounted, and RWD?
None that I am aware of. It was a rather odd question either way he meant it. You could do a boxer in a rear drive car, like the Subaru BRZ, but to my knowledge no american manufacturer has produced one since probably the Corvair.
