Anyone with a GT that's driven with it off...any perceptible difference in sound?

2018, I ditched it. Nonfunctional and just getting in the way. Also removed the sound tube. The engine looks more classic and functional. The sound also comes from the rear, as it should. You shouldn't need an emblem to know it's a Coyote (or EcoBoost or whatever you run).

But then to each their own. Maybe it looks pretty painted but I'm old school.

Anyone notice a difference in sound on a 2018 GT with it off? Our cover is so massive! Combine it with a strut tower brace and every job takes a bit more time.

I like the looks of the 2015-2017 cover better but there are no aftermarket options for 2018.

Very cool! Do you have pics of the 2014 cover? How did you get that to fit?
Driver side rear...relieve it by cutting out a small area so it will sit down. The hoses up front I moved around and relocated them in my Steeda CAI elbow. Th pins on the cover fit exactly on the intake!! Easy, easy. Use a dremmel and a small cutoff disc for the rear..just do a little at a time as it’s easy to do and does not even show when done!! Good Luck
Top pic is stock location of tubes....I relocated the upper tube to the bottom location...the bottom tube went over to the sound tube location! This allows the cover to fit flush...like it was factory!
