No problem at all with scratching the wheels. The problem that I am having however is due to the stickiness of the Cup 2 tires, it is hard to get the tension to "balance" on both sides of the strap. It tends to pull really hard on the side with the ratchet strap (obviously) but then on the back side of the tire the strap may be loose. I do the best I can but it seems advantageous to stop the trailer after the 1st 5 miles or so and re synch up the straps so to speak. Thanks for the pictures and info. With the mac's tie down straps are you experiencing any issues with scratching or rubbing the CF wheels?
I hope this helps
