Edelbrock supercharger lid removal

am wanting to get the supercharger cover powder coated whilst it's not being driven.

is it safe to just remove it?

and is it just a case of undoing the 16 or so bolts?

It's safe to remove, I've had mine off countless times.

Remove all the bolts surrounding the lid and the 2 hidden under the "2650 plaques" on each side. The plaques are held on by super small torx screws, try not to lose them.

There is a paper like gasket that is re-usbale and the blower housing has 2 dowels to help keep the gasket in place when you put the lid back on
