they are an agent of the commercial used car brokers. When was that deal made? Prices in the dealer market have crashed significantly.

Just about a month ago, if by “agent of the commercial used car brokers” you mean they take all the cars they buy straight to manehiem action lol then yes I agree considering I saw the truck on the fordpass app sitting in the auction lot.

Hi. So I want to buy a new GT from Chapman Ford and trade in my 2020 EcoBoost high performance/ handling package manual with 5000 miles. The offer they quoted was $29000. Does that seem like a fair price? People here on this forum are getting close to what they originally paid . Am I expecting too much? What do you think?
Yep, like said the EB doesn't really hold value well. I got $27k (but paid ~$29k) for my '20 HPP less handling pack, Carvana offered $29k. As long as you're not in negative equity, I'd say you're ok. There is always the next-gen too, which as a base model will probably offer a lot more in creature comforts than a base S550 GT.
You'll miss the HPP as a road car. The GT is a pig in comparision. Sounds great, but still.
Sad but true lol. The EB HPP felt pretty nimble and gutsy, the GT less PP is like a Camry with a jet engine. The 7k rpm rush is to die for though!

Hi spedy7. So do you ever regret trading your HPP for the GT? I assume the GT ride and handling is different.

you gotta have someone near you (M6G member?) who can let you drive the HPP vs GT for an hour.

I have considered renting a GT for a day, if I can find one. I guess the trade off is handling for power.

come on down to ol' virginny and you can drive a few different GT's.
The EB is noticeably lighter in the nose and as a result more 'care free' about tossing it around. The GT feels 'deader' and so when you throw it into a bend there's a little voice in the back saying "is that front going to hold?" whereas with the EB there is far less fear or concern.

The EB feels more 'zippy' when you keep it on the boil, but you do have to reach for the shift lever fairly frequently. The GT is a more relaxed on that front.

The EB needs the A10 IMO to get every ounce out of it. But the A10 programming blows and also, I'll gladly take the M6 over any imagined or real deficits.
