I'm curious about inter cooler and meth injection working together. Since they both basically do the same thing (cool intake air) do people typically go with one or both?
Yes, WM and IC both do the same thing, but WM only does it while spraying. If you're going to be spraying every time you are in boost, you don't need to upgrade the IC. In fact, at the extreme, I've seen where people have removed their IC completely to get better airflow because they are going to be spraying every time they are in the slightest boost. But that's not real practical for the street. For the street, there will be times, when the engine is under moderate load and is slightly boosted, when the WM probably won't be spraying. During those times it's all up to the IC to cool the air. Here's a great video of a supercharged MINI showing temps before and after the IC at various engine loads. Specifically, at 1:13 you can see the temps under moderate load, before: 190+, after: 130+. Then he hits the throttle, the WM starts spraying, and the temps after drop under 100 in a matter of seconds. So, it's up to you - if you're willing to live with moderately high temps under moderate boost conditions, you may not want to upgrade the IC, but if you want your air to be as cool as possible in all cases, you will want a new IC.

Someone gets it. Even the tire compound is crucial. Coming from a somewhat high horsepower car (431 rwhp '13 5.0) I'm all about suspension before throwing a ton of money into making the car fast and rolling in 235 tires and stock springs lol

I agree. I lurk on this 2.3 subsection to keep in touch with what's going on with the engine because I am thinking about going to the RS.

We know the engine can handle lots of power, but the awd system? That's a big unknown and components like that can make or break how fast you go.

Bama claimed a 12.0/12.1 at 105 with I think a 1.5 60ft, not sure what suspension mods if any they had.

Their MPH was the same as yours, not sure how they cut .7 off the ET though; I can see .4 based on their 60 ft time...
They full of shit.
