That's nice to know thank you and I'll probably check in with the service guy at my local dealership.
We definitely promote having an open and honest relationship with your service writer. Remember, anytime that you bring your car in for any type of service even just an oil change we recommend that you flash the car back to stock.

Does the PP brake calipers say "Brembo" on them anywhere?
GT PP says Brembo. Ecoboost, no. But on mine it does. LOL

Search for a wrecked PP EB and pillage the parts for yours... The hardest piece to swap would be the dash, as I understood from threads on here that the whole dash has to be replaced to get the factory gauge package.

Aside from doing that, you could trade yours in on a EB w/PP, however you're going to be taken to the cleaners by the Dealership on the trade and the Bank will love you when they up your monthly payment to cover the difference in the payoff to new vehicle...

I'm in the same boat as you. I also got a base BUT it was because I couldn't wait and it was the color I wanted and only one they had at the time and it was six speed manual.

BUT I am happy. Some things i dont like on the PP are like the rims on the PP.. people always swap. second, suspension.. sooner or later you will see a lot of people swapping the suspension. (I will do both) other than that it is a steal for apprx 2k extra. Everything else kinda regret but I'm a simple guy.

lol what
people running 13-14s on stock BASE ecoboost
tune and prep 12-13?

that sonata lists 16sec @ http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2015-hyundai-sonata-sport-20t-test-review

as far as i know performance package does nothing to the engine itself
Optima turbo is 14.1-14.5 stock 1/4,not sure why some mags got such slow times.Last tuned with intake/exhaust I saw was mid to low 13's. I wouldn't be cocky against one in a stock Eco.:eyebulge:I'd almost guarantee on a roll the Eco would lose . That's one thing I was really let down with was the highway pull of the stang in comparison. Now with a tune it's no contest but stock is another story. What iam saying is get a tune before running one ...or trade for a GT:cheers:

Responses are a lot faster than I thought and yeah I kind of did that on purpose to attract more attention! :headbang:
But I'm only regretting due to the jealousy of the pp.
Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but would've loved it more if I had the pp.
Unfortunately a lot of eb with the pp were gone around the time i was purchasing.

But build-wise i was looking for a new tune, adding new suspensions, cai, brakes but later on when i do need to switch them out, catch-can, and idk whatever follows after.......possibly a true dual exhaust with the x or the H.

I do have to admit the car is a bit bouncy and for some reason, im getting the wind seep in through the driver side window. So when i drive over 35mph i get this annoying whistling sound, already went to the dealership to get it checked out but they couldnt figure it out and it was getting late so i told em i'd be going back in today.
That wind noise is most likely the windshield seal. They totally missed about 10 inches of Urethane Glue on the front winshield on our shop car. There were a bunch of cars this happened to. Most were fixed at the factory ours was not an I am guessing yours wasn't either.:shrug:

Yeah, that's what i read too....... but a tune is a bit down the road for me....guess its an fyi, dont get too cocky with a turbo optima or sonata...eff.....

I took it in and the dealership found out that it was my sideview mirror making that noise, so through the ford warranty they'll get me new ones.

But as a general question to everyone, do we need a catch can for our car?
People say wit hthe turbos it'll be useful.......

Put springs and wheels/tires on it, and no one will be the wiser including you. Do the brakes when you can. You are going to spend more than you would have on the PP, but at least you won't have to have ugly black wheels.

The non-PP cars handle great as it is, it's a steal for the price but you don't have to have it. If anything you can add some of the stuff yourself, like springs, gears etc.

There's an aftermarket brace around here somewhere that I'm trying to keep in mind. Anyone know where it is?
