2015 EB Premium with PP in Triple Yellow
Well, the price itself is not so bad that I would change my mind. But, as bwaugh06 mentioned, I can't make any sense out of the fact that the upgrade to premium trim in EB is more expensive than in GT. Any clues?

I read somewhere that the European Mustang will be produced in Spain, this should or could mean no import duties and on the horizon is the agreement between Europe and the US concerning import and export. Let's see what the future brings.
Anyway, if the Mustang EB Premium will cost more than 40,000 € here in Europe, I'll pass.

There could be something about the interior in the EB that just costs more. Could be the labor for the wiring of gauges in the center vents, plus cost of the gauges, cost of a [potentially] unique dash to accommodate the extra gauges, engineering costs and tooling costs for these unique items, etc.

They could be subsidizing costs elsewhere with an increase in cost here to keep everything competitive in pricing.

Granted I am making a few huge assumptions here. Just things that come to mind. Ford may just want more money and feel this is where they can get it.

I thought that those gauges were only for PP. I would have thought that all upgrades in EB would be the same in GT. But, yeah, there might be something that are already available in GT base. So, the GT upgrade may not be as much.

I am not 100% sure on all the specifics for the premium, those were just some things that came to mind. It could be the gauges are only for the performance pack.

Yes, Ecoboost only comes with Boost/Oil gauges if you get the PP. GT is the same way.

So, do you know what causes the difference in the upgrade price between EB and GT?
This is just a guess but I would say the difference is the addition of a 420+ HP 5.0 Coyote V8.
Just a guess. :headbonk:

he isn't saying why is the gt more expensive, he is asking why the jump from EB base to EB premium price is more expensive than the GT base to GT premium price since they are basically the same upgrades.

I see we have a lot of guys on this forum from the Baltimore area. Hope we can have a meet-up someday.

I think the prices are fair... I think the base model is less than I was expecting, but the premium bump of about $4000 is too much... then add another $2k for the PP and I think it's overpriced. Thus, I'll likely wait a year and get a used 15 as the 16s are about to roll in.
