Hi,
Im in the market for a used Ecoboost, ideally I would want premium willing to go base depending on price. Can anyone tell me what you're paying for used 15/16 ecos. Preferably low miles in chicagoland area. Base automatics look to being listed at around 25k used and that seems outrageous for a 2/3 year old car.
Thanks
Alex

check CarMax, vroom, and beepi.

Checking CarMax, the cheapest Ecoboost they stock is around the cost of a new one from Koons in Baltimore (mid 21 plus Dealer processing fee, Taxes, Tags, and Title).

That sounds about a right. Manuals seem to go cheaper but are harder to find because nobody knows how to drive stick anymore. A premium EB would have been $30-36k brand new depending on options. $25k is already a big hit to deprecation.

About a month ago I got a 2015 Ecoboost premium, Magnetic, automatic, equip package 200A, with spare tire, 37k miles, certified preowned, for $21,995, out the door just at 24K. Would have been nice to have the upgraded audio system with the 201 package, but not a deal breaker by any means. Hope that helps!

Yes Klineka, that seems about what I had in mind if not cheeper. Was it listed at that price or did you negotiate it to there? Considering I can get a brand new ecoboost base auto for about 24k with incentives spending 23k on a 2015 used base seems strange.

It was listed at that price and they wouldn't go lower, I really wanted the premium ecoboost over the base so that's why I went with the used 2015 opposed to a new 2016. And 21,995 was one of the lowest list prices I had seen too, it was below bluebook, and they beat my preapproval for financing, I thought it was a pretty fair list price

The depreciation on the EB stinks. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but I've been laying on mine since 11/14 and my payoff is more than I could get a new one for. Sucks being upside down
