Just curious, what is everyone's MPG on their Ecoboost?

I saw a thread similar to this in the V6 section and I'm curious.
I've got a tad over 1300 miles on my Ecoboost, and while my mileage is still improving, my guess is it won't be "optimal" (as an average) until I get upwards of 4-5k, maybe later.

My highway mileage is fantastic -- I've averaged ~32-34mpg. City wise... not so much, I sit around ~22mpg. I do drive a bit enthusiastically, but just curious.

On the highway normal driving about 30 to 32, fast highway driving 25 to 27. Local around 19 to 21 and driving it like I stole it as low as 14ish. I have the PP though so with 3.55 in the rear im expected to get lower than regular 3.31s

I really don't think the gearing differences is as drastic as that.
What RPM's are you turning at 70? My buddy has 3.15's and I'm on 3.31's and we both turn right around ~2k at 70mph, unless the OD gear is different for each transmission depending on the axle ratio to make it turn ~2k...

Just curious. My gas mileage tanks if I drive it like a constant ass. That being said, still love this car. I'm averaging around ~300 miles per tank.

Ur 300 is better than my 220 in the city lol. The OD os probably the same plus or minus few 100 rpms but all the gears that lead to you speeding are a little different. Also if ur friend has 3.15 im guessing he owns an automatic in which case auto and manual gearings are not the same

Manual trans -- 23-24 city, 30-34 highway, depending on speed.

I haven't reset one of my mpg readings since I bought the car, and it's at 25.8 mpg with a 70% city 30% highway breakdown.

^ lol agreed, unless he has a lot more miles than us.

My car's avg mpg so far is around ~21... my current 2 tanks are around ~25.5mpg and that's with a lot of highway.

I thought warming up your car went out with the last millennia ;)
Just drive off gently until it reaches temp.
After the winter gas mix is gone, mpg's will rise for sure.

Yes, please
The EB I test drove had averaged 12.5 mpg over its first 60 miles.

I'm guessing it was idling a fair amount and driven fairly hard for those first few miles.

I am getting around 24 on average and that is a mix of highway and city driving. I pound the car plenty. I have a PP car with an auto and 3.55 gears. My last car was a 2012 GT with a 6 speed and 3.31 gears, and it averaged about 18. I think the EB mileage is decent. I get close to 350 miles per tank, up from 270.

Winter gas drives all my cars MPG down at least 3 MPG. Once it warms up above 60 degrees my mileage has always jumped also. I think all these EFI cars burn rich with cold temps out.

Mine is an Auto PP. Overall I'm averaging 19mpg but the car only has 430 miles on it and that is 0 highway miles. Its rare for me to drive on the highway. The first tank was only 17mpg, 2nd tank was up to around 21mpg. Either way I'm saving a Ton of cash vs driving the Z28 every day that gets 12-14 mpg.
