I know especially when Audi A6 in diesel COMBI (much more heavier than mustang) has time under 6 sec and new AUDI after facelifting with 3.0 Diesel has 5,1 sec similar to Mustang GT...:ford:
My A6 BiTdi has 313 bhp and 8-speed auto. My GT is quicker, without a doubt. But the Audi feels much more stable on the road at high speed.

Sorry that i am asking, maybe it seems to be stupid question but what are clamps ?
Clamps are those silvery rings with a screw at the top that goes around the hoses. When adjusting the screw, the ring goes tighter.

Did 5.9 today, I'm not satisfied tho. I need a more isolated place without traffic to try out different starts. Also I need to try manual paddle shifters since AT is shifting to 3rd gear just before 100 km/h.

I think a decent set of Michelins will give you at least a few tenths

I have been reading about the ecoboost (BTW lets have o wote for a better name, Power boost, Turbo, or Wild Horse would be my choice) and it seems like the intercooler is pretty small and the ecu is pretty fast with take down the boost as soon as temperature rises. A large intercooler would be the first investment for me. Especially if you are planning a software tune.
Then it seems like it it some wind flaps in the front, does they cover the intercooler too? In that case remove them.

Guys here are running stocks 5.2 - http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14797 - can't believe we can't do at least 5.5 with EU version. I'll try again on a better road and with a warm engine. I'm swapping to Michelins PA4 on Wednesday, will do some runs then as well. I'll also double check my turbo clamps.

They are running 0-60 mph, approx 0-96 km/h, it makes difference.

I'm not able to do 100 in second gear. I might be but I reach 7k rpms. I'd rather not. Was with 2 more ppl in the car though.

I get maximum 1 for boost. Never got higher. Never managed to get more than 7 at accelerometer, though I was doing wet runs.

Do you guys pull in sport or track mode? From previous car experience I know that esp stops fuel pumps when your wheels spin like crazy because it can't really put the car back on the road when the maniac driving it is pressing the pedal to the metal. Does our Sport mode disable the fuel cutting? Pulling in Track mode only yields 1-2 secs of spinning wheels :(

Try changing hears around 5200-5500 rpms. You need to go into 3rd gear unfortunately. That is also a main problem "why the car feels much faster" - the initial acceleration is really fast but the gearing is problem. You loose few tens of second on a 3rd gear change.

I have an AT, went 5.9 on a shitty cold road with summer P Zeros. Try brake boosting it up to 1,7-2k RPM - depends on road and wheels - be sure they don't spin. Next time I'll also try changing gears on lower RPMs. Use Track or Sport +, traction control off.

Someone stated that the Euro spec Mustang is heavier than in the States. Is that so? Maybe that has something to do with the higher "0-60" times.

Yea the tires spun a little, plus 3rd gear, plus 2 people extra weight means 7.1 secs...
I'll try shifting as you said so I shift to third at 80 maybe, not 95.
0 to 60 mph is doable in second gear. 0 to 100 kmph is redlining in second gear...

EB Base curb weight in the US is 1598kg for AT, I have 1692kg in my papers. It's almost the same though, since EU regulations adds "an average" 68kg passenger and 7kg luggage into the weight of the vehicle on a paper. In addition, base version in US has 18" wheels, no Shake Pro, no Performance Package, etc.

So at the end, US PP Mustang should be as heavy as EU version.
