papinist - wouldn't your towns and roads be a problem if you all drove big nice cars? In Norway we have mostly proper wide roads, but I see parking spots shrinking everytime I drive by :D And when I was in France last (small town but still) the roads were so tiny that 2CV's hardly could drive by each other (not helped by everyone using the roads for parking either!) :D

I would think mini's and fiat 500's would be the "weapon of choice" in crowded old European towns...?
You are partially right, our historic towns have very narrow streets, but actually in these streets traffic is restricted and you really don't want to go in there..
The regular streets are wide enough to regular cars, ATM mini's and 500 (and Smart) are for young stylish people :) , the most used cars are Fiat Punto and VW Golf and its categories.

Yet the Mustang will be a bigger car so I sure won't try to park in some narrow city spot! Luckily I have an underground parking availbale when at work, and a garage at home - oh and I live i nthe countryside so plenty of space here!

My biggest concern is, the attention you will get from people. Most of the time is a nice and fun thing, but you can also find not-so-good people waving around your parked car.. :-/
Oh, and obviously the QUALITY of the roads.. we have terrible roads, with plenty of holes! I love big rims but probably won't never go to the 20" because of that.
