  1. The "what things weigh thread."

How much do the lug nuts weigh? I read here somewhere that someone got Titanium ones that were much lighter. Every bit counts ;)
  2. MY 2017 Mustang announcements, when ?

If you notice the FI engines are the ones that are affected by the carbon buildup, NA engines don't suffer from the buildup, at least from what I have seen and read. A dual injection setup like in the Ford Raptor's Ecoboost V6 eliminates the problem. Strange that Ford hasn't gone to that sooner...
  3. Taillights with Sequential Amber and 3-bars Brake MOD!

Yeah, the LEDs will last more than a lifetime, but the electronics and everything around them don't. I don't know how many times I have seen LED tail lamps where multiple LEDs were not functioning, or blinking on and off due to a bad contact at the LED. I just hope the quality has gotten better...

As far as I know (expert here at nothing and everything) DI and leaving deposits is only a problem on Turbo cars, like the Ecoboosts, but is fixed with also injecting fuel just before the valves to keep them clean with the added benefit of cooling the air before it enters the cylinder. I...
  5. Project 300k DIB Ecoboost (lots of Pics)

Really impressive build, makes me want one even more now. Just waiting for 18MY to come out (I know, I know you can keep waiting for the next best thing or be in one now and enjoying it). I would love to see/feel how that beauty rides, but it would spoil me for when I finally get mine. And...
  6. 2017 Mustang Wish List

I am hoping for dual injection on the ecoboost engines, most of the manufacturers that make turbos with direct injection went over to that type of system after carbon build-up on the valves occurred. And I agree with the 2.7 ecoboost, that would be my go to car here on Germany, efficient but...
  7. Auto vs Manual

If you get the Automatic, get the transmission tune from Tune+ (Adam).
  8. Safe HP/TQ on stock engine

I guess I will just have to get in touch with you when I get my car here in MY 2017-18. But, your tune is definitely going in my car.
  9. Safe HP/TQ on stock engine

Actually, our 100-102 octane is more what I was talking about (already "converted" it so to say).
  10. Safe HP/TQ on stock engine

I doubt it would make much of a difference, but here in Germany we can get 95 octane gas. What, if any, difference can that make in a stock car?
  11. Anybody doing any single exit exhaust?

There was someone here that did that. But you might have to use the search function to find it.
  12. MT H2H 2016 Mustang vs 2016 Camaro...

Didn't Ford send them the car? MT can't just go to a dealer and say, "gimme that one!" If anything, Ford was hurting itself by sending a heavy car. Although, this wasn't a H2H on the track so hopefully for that one the two cars will be comparable. I think this has already been said though.
  13. 2.0 Camaro v. 2.3 Mustang

^This, with the EB pulling that kind of performance for so little effort it's a no brainer. With Adam's tune and MAP's P1.5 kit you can't go wrong.
  14. '16 Camaro Reviews are starting to hit the sites.

Well, all I can say is that here in Germany it rare to see any of these cars here, but if you do it is either a Mustang, corvette or a Challenger (in that order). Camaros are extremely rare. It will be a tough fight for Ford over here against all the German made sports cars. Especially if they...
  15. Ecoboost 0-100kmh time

Someone stated that the Euro spec Mustang is heavier than in the States. Is that so? Maybe that has something to do with the higher "0-60" times.
  16. '16 Camaro Reviews are starting to hit the sites.

All this talk about weight, now since the Camaro is smaller than the 5th gen, wouldn't that mean less sheet metal so less weight? Just a thought...
  17. TUNE+: www.adamtuned.com Review Thread and Tuning Information

Umm, aren't these times beating a GT350 right now, or that new fangled Camaro? Impressive...

And the Camaro stops fast, but can the brakes handle tracks where they are repeatedly used with little to no cool down in between? Still a lot to come...
  19. '16 Camaro Reviews are starting to hit the sites.

Seeing as the gt350 was more developed for track courses instead of 1/4 mile it doesn't surprise me. See how they stack up on a road course.
