The Dealer came back and indicated it would cost 300-400 EUR excluding VAT, to fix the rims .. Not sure what to do. Sounds kinda steep for just some curb rash. They also want 436 EUR per tire to install some Alpin PA4's. The tire shop around the corner sells the exact same tires including TPMS, installation etc for only 235 incl VAT!

Seems they are not even trying ...
That's at least one mistake I will never make again ... buying tires at the car dealership! The PP Zero's are 217€ a pop at the local tire center, around 350€ at the dealer... made this mistake 2 times with my previous car.

I contacted my detailer, he's willing to arrange something for my rims to be fixed up. It probably means my car can then stay in his shop while the rims are off for fixing. Don't know anything about pricing yet, but I'd rather pay him than my dealer tbh.

Got mine PA4s for 200 each tire, 40 for install in total at official Ford dealer.

I guess... Slovakia + Friend working at Ford :D

Had my rim damaged last November, found a repair shop in the meantime, here are the results:
first picture: the damaged wheel,

Have scratched mine too on my idiot garage exit, scratched the previous mustang I had there too (but not as fast...), the design of the exit is really dumb: 90° curb (going upwards too) and they put an elevation in the angle . Another scratch is there which does not appear on the picture (came after...). My dealer does it for 250.- CHF (another for 350.- CHF) and another told me 250.- was not that bad. So I went with that one...

I just picked up my car and the rims are looking amazing. You really can't tell they were damaged at all. They're also nice and shiny again as the Modesta coating has been re-applied as well. Will take pics in daylight.
