Anyone know how long it takes to reprogram a ECM?

I'm not expert but I think it depends on several variables.
Things like what you are doing to the ecu.
A reflash can take as little as 30 minutes to an hour or so. A complete reprogramming from an hour to around 4.
Flashing a tune somewhere in the area of an hour to 3 ish.
And then all that can be affected by your hardware, software, connection speed and the service your using. Not to mention how, for lack of a better word, complicated your car electronics are.

One thing I know with absolute certainty is that the vehicle needs to be connected to a battery maintainer. The absolute worst thing is for you to lose power in the middle of your programming.

Eh, Pcmtec does reflashes in 15-30 seconds. Many times I’ve pulled over into a parking lot to reflash on my way to or home from work.
