Does anyone have any information on this? I think we have probably already seen this in photos and we just did not know it. Someone else speculated this earlier today.

Could it be the Ebony Seats with white stitching?

I'm thinking this is it as well, notice the white stitching on the brow.

Looking at fords 2015 site the closest suspect is the interior photo in the heading "pony up, introducing the all new mustang" shows black leather with contrasting white stitching.

Wow that pic is awesome. Looks like leather though with cloth insert which I assume the S550 isn't doing. Must be the photo? Or maybe that is the ventilation perforation for cooled seats.

Seats look super comfy.

They're All Leather with Perforated Leather Inserts for the "Cooled" Function of the Heated and Cooled Seats. Basically there are Fans that Circulate Air through the Perforation. They're not Actually Air Conditioned.

So are there only going to be white or red stitching? or is it going to be like the 2014 mustang premier accent trim that have blue stitching as well?

The seats are actually air conditioned, as a dealer tech, I've had to replace a few heating/cooling units in F-150 seats. They use a TEC or thermo electric cooling plate, the technology has been used in high power PC cooling for a while now.

Essentially there's a metal plate with two leads and when you pass electricity through it heat is transferred, making one side hot and the other cold. Then switching roles when the polarity is reversed, allowing one unit to heat or cool. Air is then pushed by a small blower over the plate and through the perforations in the seats

That is cool technology (bad pun) but I believe running a current through either direction should warm it up with increased friction. Is there some sort of refrigerant involved at all? I'd love to hear the science behind it. :)

I stand corrected. I was always told they just ventilated the seat with a fan circulating Cool Cabin Air through the Perforation.

Yup... seen those and used them on a few pc ... excellent for an over clocker for both the cpu and gpu. The plate is obviously on a bigger scale in order to cool or heat that volume of air... correct?

That will give you a more scientific understanding of how it works, it really does seem "voodoo" compared to traditional electric theories and methods of creating heat, but the plates are essentially electric heat pumps, no moving parts, no refrigerant.

I wasn't trying to act like a "know it all" or you show you up Shawn, I just like sharing knowledge whenever I can

They aren't very large,
#10 in that picture is the one used in current F-150's
#11 shows the blower filter removed
