ok so i did some digging and i'm seeing two versions of these lights

https://www.vland-carlamp.com/index.aspx?pageid=4995995&chainID=488944&txtQuickSearch=mustang

you have three which are "multi-mode" which I assume are the ones that have five modes. Than two (a red lens, and a smoked lens) with only 2 functions (normal, and sequential) according to the description, and they are also priced cheaper (468.99 just like all of the ones on ebay).

I actually DM'ed s550euros and he quoted me 795 for the tail lights, seems he's just buying these (multi mode $599) and selling at a 200 dollar markup.

Yes, there are 2 mode, 5 mode and standard.

I had mine on for a week now... Not lucky. Both lights with moisture inside. Looks like time for a return. Sigh

It's interesting, as if you look at the connector\plug on the light assembly itsself, you can see where they have the bullet plug coming out (where the 3rd brake light lead comes and plug into each tail light) theres another wire in there as well, almost where it would source its brake from normally, from the cars tail light harness. So im not 100% sure why they rely on a separate source(3rd brake light) to trigger the tails brake functionality.

Did you run the 3rd brake light wiring as well i presume? How did you route the yellow wire from the third brake light at the rear of the headliners to end up in the trunk to connect to the tails. I cant find an obvious wiring path to have the entire yellow wire invisible. Right now theres about 4 inches of wire showing from the quarter panel window coming down there back behind the rear seat where it enters the trunk.
I did install the harness to the third brake light. I ran it under the pillar plastic and into the back deck cover by the seat latch. Pretty hidden there.

This doesn't look abnormal to me. My Ford 15-17 euro tails would get condensation all the time. As long as it disperses, there shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not sure i 100% agree with that. I've done numerous amounts of headlight retrofits which include the proper resealing of housings. While I do know what youre saying, that the differences in pressure\temperature\humidity and overall different temperatures from the heat from bulbs inside vs the temperature outside could potentially cause condensation inside the housing. And you're correct it should dissipate. However that only happens with proper ventilation of the housing. That is why housings have breather valves\holes to allow moving airflow throughout without allowing water in.

My assumptions here are there is a bad sonic welded seal of the two halves because the moisture only became present after exposed to rain. If condensation is happening after rain, then its clear there's water getting inside. And with these tail lights, the LEDs aren't going to emit enough heat to basically dissipate the moisture inside. That leaves wet condensation with raw electrical components. Just asking for premature failure. In any way, they have a 1 year warranty and ill be sourcing a replacement set. $600 isn't something to gamble on for component failure in 6 months.

I get what you're saying and might as well try to warranty them. Won't hurt to try.
I will say that even Ford states in the owner's manual that condensation is normal. Now if there's standing water in housing, that would be concerning.

I ordered a pair of the clear ones. Looking forward to them. I think I will use mode 4.Was it tricky hooking it up to the 3rd brake light?

Cool. Where did you order them from? Its pretty straight forward, crawl back in the back seat, pull the headliner down a little but, unplug the connection, put the harness in between the connection, run the two yellow lead wires with bullet plugs down around the trim, etc into the trunk and they plug into the tail lights. More time consuming then difficult. Im still trying to find a way to run the wiring however from the headliner unto the trunk without it being seen down by the top of the rear seats

what's the difference between the one s550euro , hellhorse performance, next-gen speed, and VLAND sells?

I know next-gen sells VLAND's lights at a markup.

i think they're all v-land. The video on this page said they got it from s550euros, and the box said vland on them.

vland makes a bunch of tail lights and headlights, they're popular with the brz/frs/86

Thanks, seems simple enough.
I ordered mine from ebay.

he bought from s550euros, and the box says vland.

In the comments it says $750 was the price. I know people gotta make money, but if you do a bit more research you can get stuff for cheaper.

Alright, so i actually ordered from this seller.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/15-19-Ford-Mustang-Facelift-Euro-Style-Customizable-Sequential-LED-Taillights/193052405750?_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20160908105057&meid=13e50cfb3b0248a596009c3e3a311e47&pid=100675&rk=1&rkt=15&sd=193052405750&itm=193052405750&pmt=1&noa=1&pg=2481888&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci:66265560-c5ed-11e9-aa9b-74dbd1801e76|parentrq:c0646b2316c0ac3cd3c0bf87fff1dad7|iid:1

He initially had them priced at $468, (which is the 2 mode price, and they don't make the clears in the 2 mode version) and so I jumped on it and made him an offer and he accepted.

The next day, I noticed he changed the price to $599 (as priced on vland's website) so I assume he mispriced them the first time he had them up and it turns out to be true (got my package today). -The box on the model # is the same as the one on vland's website for the clear euros https://www.vland-carlamp.com/LED_M...ord_Mustang_Clear_Lens/p4995994_19940473.aspx).

Since raising the price to 599, i noticed he didnt sell anymore and now it's at $499 for any of you guys that want some euro tails. Mode 4 is sick. Fitment is good, and they look amazing.

S550euros quoted me 795 , after doing some research i figured they were selling vland. I found the 2 mode vland version on ebay. Seller had them listed at 468 and i made an offer and he accepted. Package was delivered in 4 days

Can you dumb down how the process works for wiring the third brake light to the taillights? Im too stoopid to understand haha. I actually just ordered these and I'm anticipating to install them.

Are the third brake lights the ones at the top of the rear window or the reverse light by the exhausts. I think I'm getting them confused cause some people have a diodedynamics mod that allows the reverse lights to light up red when they brake.

Anything helps! Thanks.
