This was all I could find on this Taiwanese company. It looks nice but unless someone else here has already bought one, quality could be a big question mark.

Are you willing to spend almost $500 to give it a try?

I recently ordered one from Spec-M, and had considered the Youstar version. They looked exactly the same so they're probably the same manufacturer. Reviews on both sellers seemed good, so I took the chance.

The only difference I saw was that Youstar ships from Taiwan, while Spec-M ships from California. I know Spec-M is getting it from Taiwan, but if there are any customs issues it's they're problem not mine.

I was considering a Youstar wheel but I can't find anyone who has bought one. Really not sure what to do, I would hate for it to be total garbage or compromise my safety.

I bought one from youstar via eBay. Quickest shipping I’ve ever received internationally. Packaged well. Received in 3 days via DHL after I ordered it. I got the leather/carbon fiber. I’m super happy with it. I had to switch over the 2 springs and the counter weight (if that’s what it Called?). I recommend it

Springs/clips circled below. Just watch some YouTube videos. Pretty straight forward. I also had to remove the paddle extensions to get the airbag off.

Thanks! Do you have any YouTube videos to recommend? I found some through CJ's that were not as helpful since they don't disassemble everything. I have not found another one that captures is well.

Nothing I watched showed how to switch over those couple parts to the new wheel. I just kinda figured it out myself. I used the CJ’s install as a guide though. You’ll be able to figure it out if you are used to working with your hands on your car.

I was a little nervous as well to buy from eBay but Youstar has really good reviews. You probably get a better product from American made but you pay more. I wish I could have supported the American made wheels but I couldn’t get myself to pay an extra $300. Plus most everything now a days is made in China unfortunately.
