Thanks guys for the responses.

Yes the 3.55's really is a big thing...from reading everything on here it really makes the auto transmission stand out vs the 3.15's.

I wish the EB Premium could get 3.55's without the PP because I'm not a fan of the wheels or dash.

But my dealer if I go that route is looking into getting the wheels stripped and then if the color isn't nice underneath made into a more gunmetal color like the Ford Racing ones.

So what's the 'unique chasis tuning' and 'unique calibration' exactly doing vs the cars without the PP?

haven't tested non-pp since i wanted all season tires

however i'll throw in the (regular) EB braking distance from 70km/h was very short on a moment's notice as i glanced at the radio - generated 1.13G according to the app

very happy!

I tested both and got PP. Definitely felt more composed around corners, braking under normal circumstances felt about the same.

I can't comment on SOTP, because mine is a manual and the non-pp I drove was an auto. So, not exactly apples to apples.

Additionally, I WANTED the dash, gauges and wheels.

How could you not want an oil pressure and boost gauge? I guess everyone has different priorities. I wanted the gauges and wheels more than even the gears, I can change the gears.

It's basically the GT, but with the 2.3 and different wheels. To me they felt different once you push the car a little. Not noticeable under normal driving conditions except the non pp felt softer in the front going over bumps.

I drove the non PP at the mustang bucket list event. Hard to tell much from one lap around the mall, but I was a bit underwhelmed. The PP was a must have for me right from jump street. Absolutely no issues for me as a daily driver. Could easily take a cross country trip in mine. Highway on/off ramps and back country roads are a blast, and confirm I made the right choice for me.

I was finally able to test drive two Mustangs today. One was an Ecoboost automatic without the PP and the other was a GT manual with the PP.

What I wanted to experience is the difference between a PP and Non-PP Mustang. It would've been nice if I could've found two of the same models as I'm interested in the Ecoboost manual for myself. But from what I experienced, there's hardly any difference in ride quality (comfort). The only difference I felt was when you hit a bump or road imperfection. The bumps seem to be felt a bit more. If I lived in an area with lousy roads, I think the PP would be out. But this car will be for "FUN" driving and the roads in my location are great. So I think I'll be getting the PP when I order.

A couple of questions;

1. I saw on one thread that someone had put 18' wheels on the Ecoboost PP. Is that possible?

2. Does putting on all-season tires improve the ride quality (comfort level) as compared to the summer tires?

3. Has anyone found some type of spare tire or 'donut' tire that can be used for a temporary spare?

I'm not sure they make 18-19" donuts. You need something that large to clear the brakes. Your safest bet is simply a 5th wheel/tire combo of what you already have.

But I think I read some where that the 19" wheels will not fit in the recessed wheel-well where the spare tire is normally stored.

The PP will take a 17 inch wheel. My Race Stars are 17's.

Well now,,, as far as I'm concerned, I'm definitely getting the PP! :coolphotos::D

I'll look into putting 17" or 18" wheels and all-season or winter tires on her. I'm sure that'll some what soften going over some road imperfections with the PP!

Thanks again for the information!
