Easy trunk handle. Just use a zip tie. The rear panel is even softer than on my 2018.

that zip tie is going to wear the paint away wherever it rubs every time you pull down on it.

If it does you cant see it from out side but you can see the marks on the rear panel. You could use a soft Velcro loop like for wires.

I did, an M5 insert fits the push pin holes perfectly and I put a penny washer on the back to spread the load - the washer took a bit of fiddling to get in place :

Okay, I’m stumped....why do you need a trunk handle?
If you pull the trunk down and touch the black rear panel it scratches.

Awww I ceramic coated mine....so far so good. It’s been a year and no scratches. My 16 got pretty bad though.

Okay, I’m stumped....why do you need a trunk handle?
I never understood this. The trunk isn't heavy at all, just reach up, grab the painted part, and gently pull down. Yes, the black panel can scratch, but it's not a show car. A little plastic polish and it'll buff right out. I think it more a "do it bc I can" type deal.
