Agreed. Mods (or none) should be listed to see if even a basic correlation exists. Otherwise, it's just a list of blown engines.
I have started a separate thread that goes more in depth as to build date, mods, transmission style, and a few other things. It won't compromise people's warranty claims as I'm not sharing Usernames with the data. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50195

You were having a problem with your engine 2 weeks ago. Your video shows the problem with either fuel or boost cut.

It's possible you could have saved your motor if this issue was looked into.

I watched that video several time, "there it is again!" and never heard or saw anything. I saw the boost holding nice and steady around 20 psi and the A/F pretty steady at 11:1. What was it we were supposed to see? Also, if you took it to the dealer for the problem and then it blew, I'd think they would help you.

I've been meaning to ask this questions.. but why does this ecoboost and some others I've seen show boost/vacuum but not oil temp? Mine shows oil temp but not boost/vacuum.

Just a guess but I would say trim level. Mine has it and it is a premium with Perf Pack. For oil temp I get low/normal high rather than an actual temperature which sucks...

Mine is a premium with PP as well. I don't get the actual temp either, just low/normal and hopefully I never see high. Is it that if you don't have the gauge cluster that maybe you get it in the display?

Oh sorry, I think you're correct, if you have the gauge, it doesn't show in the menu. Mine doesn't have it either. I was thinking of the A/F, sorry for the confusion.

I'm not sure what you are seeing here that I am missing. I think in his original post with this video he stated that the car felt like it was dragging in a high RPM. There is not reason to take this car all the way to redline since the power dies at 5500rpm on these.

no but something was occurring that was different than what he was used to - triggering the creation of the video and his reaction.

id love to hear someones input on what could have been causing the power loss.

I never look at my gauges while I am accelerating so I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. My eyes typically are on the road when traveling at those speeds. My question is if he was tuned did he not data log and send it to the tuner when he had worries?

What I'm referring to is his reaction to whatever is happening to his car. With all the other ambient noise in the video would be very difficult to discern what was going on. He obviously knew something was wrong but continued to push the car to redline. An engine is mechanical it is not like a muscle you can't rub dirt on it and walk it out if you get a cramp. It is possible that we could have found out some more information prior to the explosion if it had been examined properly. Now it's just an oil stain and one more chalked up to bad luck.
