Interesting, I knew that $750 EAA is protected but I didn't know that about Dream Big $500.

You could always ask your salesman to lock it in.

Update: saw my dealer yesterday and was told any kind of rebate is a no-go if I sign and complete the sale after the expiration date. And they can't have me sign off without presenting the car to me following its delivery... could be an Autonation policy.

Kind of bummed, that would've been an easy $750 to save.

That's b.s. If you're using X Plan and the EAA certificate and a lie! Several of us have received e mails from Program HQ and that means Ford.

Here's the response I received when I asked about the expiration date on the EAA $750 promotion.

We have a program in place called Incentive Protection to ensure that you get the same amount in rebates when you take delivery of your car that you were eligible for when you ordered.



Please be sure to provide the dealership your printed coupon when you take delivery of your car to show that you were eligible for the $750 at time of order.



New offers become available almost every day; however, the information is not provided until the day it becomes available. Your dealership will be able to run a VIN-specific eligibility check to see what new offers are available at time of delivery.

That is a whole bunch of lies they told you one after another. The rebates and even the EAA 750 are locked in if you got your order in time. And my dealer and I had all the papetwork done on my sale while my Mustang was still on its train over.

You don't have to use EAA's X Plan though. I combined EAA's 750 coupon with my employer's X Plan and it worked just fine.
