480-500 for a good pure e85 tune. Tuning By James had a stock Bullitt put down 500 wheel on just e85, but that dyno may have bene a little hot.Thinking of the possibility of an e85 tune for the new Mach1 when I get it.
Any guesses on what it will rear wheel tuned?
20 is what people are getting from 93 alone.VMP told me 20 horsepower but I don’t think anyone has actually tuned one on e85 yet. So just speculation
I think that was a happy Dyno, but there may very well be some getting close. I didn’t get there with my FBO Bullitt, which is essentially a Mach 1 engine. My numbers were 469 rwhp/439 rwtq on a Lund E85R tune.480-500 for a good pure e85 tune. Tuning By James had a stock Bullitt put down 500 wheel on just e85, but that dyno may have bene a little hot.
Yeah that's why I gave the range. It's going to be dyno dependent. But evne then your numbers sound low. A few shops have had Headers, exhaust, intake, e85 GT's crack 490-500 wheel.I think that was a happy Dyno, but there may very well be some getting close. @faser, I’m going to guess that you’ll make between 440-455.
Yep and mine was run with the hood closed. Now the nitrous was a different story! I picked up 170 rwhp on a 150 shot. I’m pleased to know that I have extra power and torque on tap when wanted/needed.Yeah that's why I gave the range. It's going to be dyno dependent. But evne then your numbers sound low. Evolution, Tuning by James, American Muscle, couple others.
I gotcha. In that case I’d recommend a Flex tune, which allows any combination of pump gas and E85, that way if it’s available, one can run it and if it’s not, fill up with pump gas. I run on my Flex tune 98% of the time.Biggest issue being finding it when traveling. Sure, I can find it all over the D-FW area. Out west, not so. I'll wait till I can install my Whipple sc thank you.
