Thanks for the tip. Curious about location of storage. Issues keeping 60 gallons in the garage? My wife. Has me about a 2 gallon can for my blower and trimmer.
What’s the wife have to do with it? I’ve kept fuel properly stored in a garage my entire life.

I'd rather have 60 gallons of gas in my garage than an EV battery. My buddy lost his house due to one deciding to self-destruct. I've never seen a can of gas spontaneously combust.

Well…. Here in Ontario we do not have any E at the pump whatsoever. So I thought about doing the 55 gallon drum thing as well. My wife was not going for that no way. She even got out our homeowners insurance policy and low and behold there’s actually a clause in there of “storage of raw liquid fuel in excess of 36 liters” and then some other mumbo jumbo about fuel pellets pucks and gels in different quantities. So, as much as I’d love to run E, unfortunately it’s a no go here. Maybe if I lived on a farm as there doesn’t seem to be any restriction there with having a diesel tank. Maybe just an issue in a subdivision. Either way, having a 55 gallon drum or two in the garage wasn’t going to happen.
Your situation, insurance, wife’s temper etc will vary…

Not to mention, 2 vehicles parked in the garage could have 60 gallons in them as well anyway. LOL.

Construct a small 4X8 or 4X6 shed? Worth it. 😉

Lol.
I have a nice shed in the backyard and thought about it…. The challenge is getting the fuel from the shed to the car then. And the thought of wheeling a 55 gallon drum over 200 feet of grass doesn’t thrill me.

Now the question is how do you pour from these jugs into the car. Using that small bullshit funnel stored in the spare tire well isn’t the answer for sure. There’s got to be a better way. I hate the new style filler necks that make adding anything a hassle and potential huge fuel spill.

I use the spout that comes with most VP fuel jugs. Fits in perfect. I have 3 spouts and 10 caps without spouts for storage.

What can I say, America amazes me.
If I go with a say five liters jug to the pump nobody will reasonably tell me nothing but you guys go with entire barrels!
And Italy is quite the place of "live and let live". You'd be in other places of our liberals plagued continent and do something like that you would be shot dead.

God I have to come live in some of your still good states left.

^^^^ that's exactly how I do it. Also have little plastic thing that bends that spout at a favorable angle to pour. VP jugs rule - they don't have the no spill federally mandated thing (which was mandated for a reason of human stupidity) and theoretically are not for gasoline.

Well they can't tell you anything due to the fact that you are paying for it. Also, don't let the TV fool you, most of the US is filled with great people. Even California has some great people left. But yes, liberals are the ones who the media follows which makes it seem like that's all there is here. It's only the biggest cities that are infested with this mental disease. USA is great, but on a downward spiral. But so is the rest of the world seems like it. The mental disorder is spreading like wild fire & the media is owned by the ones at the helm. But that's all I'm gonna say before I get put on an involuntary vacation. You should come on down, we would be happy to have you. I'd love to see Italia some day.

I just saw Nitro Extreme the other day. Bunch of Italian stunt drivers. It started raining during the show and these guys didn't skip a beat. I could tell they were not used to the added slipperiness but they pulled off all the stunts.
