Problem is you're assuming it's E15 everytime, and you assume you can mix it the same every time.

These assumptions are going to leave you with a broken motor.

You'd be better off with 93 and Torco additive, vs attempting your own cocktail mix of E85.

One would think that the calculation should be done prior to burning it up through the motor?? Regardless like other have said this is a shit idea on current tune and injector.

Regular 93 is supposed to be e10 so 2/16 x 85 + 14/16 x 10 = e19.375. Pure math dude, you should have paid attention at school.

I just bought the HP Tuners suite and an nGauge, so I'll let you guys know what the ECU does when it "sees" extra e85 in the gas.

I've personally seen how some ECU's (Mazdaspeed3) use the wideband to drive the injectors to add fuel when e85 is added. So if the Ford ECU is the same I'd expect to see the injector duty cycle to go up to add fuel and get lambda back to target, usually 0.8 at WOT.

I'll post when I've had a chance to play.

Ok, so now you have 1.5/16 x 85 = 8, so that pretty close to the e10 the rest of us are pumping.

2 gallons of e85 to your zero 93 will be 10.6%.

Personally I wouldn't bother with e until you go force induction.

Mixing E85 with pump gas is not smart unless you're tuned for it. In which case just go full E85.

I'm running e85 with the upgraded 47lb injectors and a Lund tune and you can definitely feel a difference. Lund was awesome with helping with the datalog sessions and always replied with an update promptly

yep, if you want to run e85, then I would suggest letting us do a lund tune for it and doing it properly
