Long story short, I went and got a custom dyno tune.[$1000] at my local speed shop. Pretty nice cars that we in there getting worked on.

Got to 417 whp with the above mods.

I want to go E85, so i got fr 47lb injectors. My tuner is telling me that i can gain 40-100hp on e85 lol. I know that crazy, but want another $700 to flex tune it. Im not saying this is bad, but should I stick with my local shop or just get a tuner with box tunes?

I obviously know ill gain maybe 10 whp on e.

Thank you professionals!

Get a tuner, data log and send logs to your tuner, so that they can dial you in for maximum power. If you plan on installing long tube headers, I would install those first and then tune for Flex and E85R. With headers, my car dyno’d at 469 rwhp/434 rwtq.

A $1,000 for a dyno tune? $700 for flex tune? Did you get a RTD+? A handheld tuner?

I dont know much a lot about tuning but I think you need to contact @Wengerd Performance before moving forward.

No handheld tuner was included.
with those prices you could’ve gotten a handheld tuner included.

lund or Palm Beach Dyno both are great tuners for these cars and like i said you’ll get a device to keep…

Also, if you add some mods to the car they maybe charge a couple hundred for a revision is it is out of the alloyed window but it’s definitely not 700- 1000

Unless your boosted a dyno tune isn't really necessary. The remote tuners can really dial them in through experience and data logging. Take your pick of them my guy is Luis Ortiz out of Texas. But you also don't have your stock tune either to flash back and start over.

Purchase a mpvi2+ and I’ll show you how to make a flex tune for free. Then you never need to go to anyone and you can do things that a tuner will not do
Seriously? Will it matter that I already have a tune?

ask the tuner what hardware is he using and have him give you a compatible device and load your stock and modified tune onto it.

Which tuner device should I use with Lund? Heard the n guage is no more. Is it ok that I already have a tune?

you REALLY need to hoof it over to your local 'tuner' and demand they give you your stock tune in a format that can be flashed back. For everything else there is the telephone - go talk to your 'next' vendor. But really, how much money are you going to sink into this bucket? Chasing what, exactly?
