I ran most of the summer with the GT350 IM/TB and flex fuel without problems. Lund has noted though that they advise running a datalog and shipping it to them for review now that it has become colder. More so as a precautionary measure because of the added fuel for the air density. Otherwise, I never had any problems (I don't run it in Michigan once it gets cold anyway).

My thoughts are generally as mechanical things age they lose efficiency. If stock injectors run very near their max on E85. As they age they lose efficiency. So running near/at the max efficiency with a less efficient injector. That's where running E85 through stock injectors could give you potential problems.
