The E-Force has it's charm in it's aesthetic appeal if that's your thing. But one would have to care less about HP for dollars to buy it, and that is just not the case with most people going for an SC power adder package.

It goes way past advertising. Whipple has been the leader in the supercharger market for many years. Ford Racing has used them as their supercharger offerings for many vehicle models such as the Ford Lightning, 03-04 Cobra, 05-10 GT, 11-14 GT, 07-12 GT500's and has used them on the Cobra Jet since 2009 through present.

Shelby Performance uses them for their Supersnakes and F150's.

Chevy uses them on their Copo Camaro and Dodge uses them for their Drag Pack Challenger.

The list goes on...

As you can see they have quite a bit of credentials under their belt. If those manufacturers are choosing Whipple for their quickest and most powerful vehicles there's a reason why.:cheers:
I would add NO PD supercharger has a better relationship with Ford. There is a reason the stock Whipple tune is as good and as powerful as it is.

I don't even think they are aesthetically pleasing. It's hard to beat the look of the Whipple under the hoods of our cars. The e force just looks blah.

I can certainly see that we have a bunch of engineers in the crowd who can substantiate that the Whipple makes better power than any of the other supercharges in the market just because it’s under your hood. If you had an E Force supercharger under your hood would you have spoken differently?? C’mon be honest with yourself… All I wanted was a bias opinion.…. I am going to move forward with it even though some think that the ascetic’s are just not there. I think it looks great. I guess I want to be a little different than what everyone else has. It’s the way I roll. Anyway.. I appeciate your thoughts.

If that's true, why did Ford and Ford Performance switch to Roush? Or for that matter, why didn't they use them on the 2013-14 GT500's?

Switch how? Ford Performance/Roush is just a TVS2300...

Not sure why you bring up Roush anyway... Have you seen the fiasco's they are having with tuning on this forum?

Or... WHY did people choose it over the E-Force? Talk is cheap, there is a reason everyone is spending their hard earned money on the (more expensive) Whipple.

No one is saying don't buy one because you like the looks. What everyone is talking about is the performance aspect. It's your car, do what you want and be happy

Having seen the E-force in person, I do agree it's a good looking SC. While I personally have a Whipple, I love the idea of more SC options. Everyone likes what they like, and they will all give you pretty nice power. The reason this SC gets so much negative push back is because it flat out does not produce the power of the KB or Whipple, or even the Roush, yet cost is very similar. That's not opinion, that is fact. This system will also always run hotter than the other options due to design. Higher heat = increased power loss. Also, the ceiling for the E-force is much lower than the Whipple and KB. It flat out just does not have the sheer size and capacity to keep gaining power with additional options. I grew up a huge Edelbrock fan, and I think it is great that they have introduced this product to the S550 platform. I won't down talk it, other than to state the known facts that I did above. I'd still like to see some real world experience feedback from owners of it. While we all have opinion on whats "best".. we can all agree that more options for the S550 platform, including the E-force, are always a good thing :)

Just make sure you post your numbers here when you're done. Seems like you made up your mind before you asked the question. Good luck.

As posted above by Lethal Performance, Ford and Ford Performance used to use Whipple's in several applications, but for whatever reason, switched from Whipple to Roush. There likely had to be a reason for that and it's likely it's not just cost.

So, yes, to be contrarian. Different strokes for different folks. I just can't imagine dumping money on a power adder and being slower than everyone else just because I wanted to be different.

Talk to the folks at Brenspeed - they like the 2015-16 Mustang E-Force S/C a lot.

I'm guessing cost and production availability.
