Great numbers.

Do you have an upgraded clutch in the car?

I will for sure have it at the track. They open April 1st out here and as soon as there is a decent day I will take it up there. I have some 17s and skinnies for it.

The auto car would destroy my car in the 1/4. But from a roll it would be a decent race.

edit 3.55 gears replaced the original 3.73
I dunno, if you can row some gears it should be close. Can't imagine an mt82 is gonna love being launched by an 800whp Whipple setup, lol, but if you can get a 1.6x 60ft and bang some gears she should hold up at least once . The other car has great et but questionable mph for 800whp, would be awesome to compare the 2, which truly is apples to oranges.

I would expect to trap about 130-134 if I dont have to use 5th gear. But I will ET probably a second higher than an auto.

Those 3.55's might hurt you if you trap over 138, gonna have to either go into 5th, which kills et, or stretch to 7900 which will get you to 141, 28" tire. In my opinion, assuming neutral conditions, an 800whp+ car should be 140+ all day.

looks like I can do 134mph in 4th if I wind it to 7600. Ill be surprised to trap higher than that but who knows.

If this car were lighter, I might feel the same about 140+, but its gotta be what, 3900-3950# with the blower and all this stuff?

This isnt like a turbo car where I hit 800+ and hold it until it comes down, I only hit peak power at redline.

I'm hoping that's a typo, cause 600-625whp will trap 130-134, I trapped both of those speeds with my tvs/11psi/93 setup 611whp & 625whp. I know you have a solid tune with Lund, which is why you put down great numbers, but ain't no you'll only trap 130-134 unless your Kung Fu is down right turrible.

I am, haha. My setup was tuned by the same people at the time. A Lund tuned 800whp setup is gonna move out, just going to depend on your ability to extract it. I have an auto, no Kung fu required, just stall it and mash it.

How much experience do you have at the strip? I'd highly recommend a bias ply stiff wall slick with your setup, preferably something close to 29", which buys you 143mph/7750rpms with your 3.55's. hope you have some gforce/dss axles, good luck!

Awesome numbers! Details on fuel system? I'll be upgrading mine at some point in the near future.

Yep, 149 is where your 4th/3.55 goes into 5th, you'd be going into 4th gear at 112mph. I go into 4th at 140 with my 3.15's, 1 less shift.
