Unfortunately they ran the car to only 6800 assuming I was on a stock calibration. Check out the iat2s during back to back pulls using a killer chiller. Next vid will be putting the killer chiller to the test in 95° weather in 2800 DA on the 1/4. Sub the channel, plenty of content.

Where is all the power that the custom tune and KC is supposed to provide? Looking forward to your 1/4 mile results. That means more to me than dyno numbers, anyway.

Exactly!!! They should took that rpm to 7800. Might jump on another dyno before upping the hp. As far as the killer chiller goes you see my iats so no timing should been pulled. Next vid will be dropping Sunday. I will say I was in over my head trying for a personal best in this heat though lol. Best time was still decent though.

I figured it could be a 50/50. Removed seats and ran a revised tune from my tuner. Ran a solid time for this crazy heat but was in over my head thinking I could get below a 10.01 in 2800 DA lol.

Man the disappointment in your face after that dyno had me questioning if I’m heading in the right direction with my own build and if going with the Roush SC or a SC at all was the right choice. Got me at a crossroads right now…

Depends on what your goal is with the car. I plan to stop at 800+ hp. Once I go e85 I should be around that power level. The kid running the dyno ran the car to only 6800 rpm I didn't realize that until I was editing the vid. So no wonder I didn't even see 650 hp. There's no way a 630 hp car can run a 10.0 at 137 mph weighing 4000 lbs. I learned my lesson and will possibly be getting on another dyno next week.

Yeah I had read the 6800 rpm before I even watched the vid so I knew that was coming. Still seems a little lack luster even at that rpm with all the mods and tune you have at least in my opinion. 700-750 is good for me right now or a nice 10.0 run at the track and I would feel accomplished and feel my money has been spent right. Then again I think about what I’ve spent now and what i still need to spend to get to that point and I’m second guessing if I should have just gone with a TT setup and spent the same money with even more HP. What fuel system are you going with for e85?

In my opinion, and the opinion of about a bazillion other people, if a 10 flat or sub 10 car is the goal, Roush not the best choice. Of course, it can be done as Fx2beast has proven but there are easier and likely less expensive ways to do it.

That’s my fault for not researching more and hoping the Roush and the warranty would take care of my needs.. which in some regards it does minus the issues I have already had. But in order to get more power I’m going to have to add things that break the warranty which means maybe I should have just taken another route. All in all I shouldn’t really complain this car gets up and goes vs most anything out there at least that I will every see, if it wasn’t for the CEL issues I’d probably be pretty happy right now. I’ll say once again I’m at a crossroads do I throw more money at the Roush setup, go with a different F/I route or just suck it up and enjoy a warranty?!?!

Big decision. I bought the car with intention of 800 hp goal. The roush can accomplish that. Warranty is vague anyways.
