Hi, just after opinions on my dyno numbers after the few mods were done .
2018 GT 10R80 TRANSMISSION 3.55 DIFF Australia

I had installed pacemaker headers and cats, borla switchfire resonator delete, kept standard active exhaust back mufflers.
Ford performance 87 mm throttle body and cai that came with the fit and was tuned to the software provided with the kit .
Dyno was a roller dyno done in Brisbane in the middle of summer .
My thought were that there must be a huge loss through the auto trans
thanks

That's pretty good. That thing should light up your house for days.
yeah it go pretty hard, i was not sure what it should do on the dyno as i don't have a before run to compare . In my view it cracks harder than before .

There is a bit more loss through the auto than a manual, but that seems a bit low for having headers and a resonator delete with a CAI and a tune. The tune you are running is the FORD Perf tune right? No tuner actually tuned your car, the dyno was just to see what the provided tune got you? Most GT's I've seen like your set up usually dyno around 425ish Hp.
293Kw is 392 Hp and the torque 460Nm is 340 ft lbs, so I can compare to mine. Looks like the run was done in 7th gear which is 1:1. Also you said summer, be curious what the temp/humidity was. Do you know what exhaust mode the car was run in on the dyno?

My 2020 Bullitt, with 91mm GT350 TB, intake and air filter set up with Stainless works LTH w/cats, H pipe and stock active exhaust (set to track) got 486/435 on the dyno with a 5Star tune/dyno time. It's a manual car, so the pull was done in forth gear/1:1.

Your rear is a 3.55, mine is a 3.73 so some difference there.

Isnt that like 480hp at 18% driveline loss? That doesnt sound bad I think, if so?

What numbers were you expecting? Do you have a baseline? From your car or at least what other similar cars put out at that dyno?

EDIT: Saw you mention you dont have a before. Maybe check runs of similar cars to get an idea.

Hi , yes the tune is ford installed by chiptorque in brisbane , the weather was quite hot . i didn't realize there was so much loss through the trans . I was speaking to a local guy who runs a hub dyno who thought it wasn't too bad . i'm going to run it on his dyno soon just to get a comparison

To be honest i was expecting a little more but in real time it does feel to go a bit harder .

To be honest gen 3’s are pretty aggressively tuned from the factory and don’t pick up a ton of power on 93 octane tunes. Even Wengard has openly admitted this.

About how much more HP would an E85 tune achieve? Even if total HP isn't significant, is the torque curve shifted enough boost the low end?

The stock tune is made to accept 87 octane......

I am sure E85 would take it over 500 but I am keeping it tuned on 93. E85 is available around me but I like the ease of just rolling up anywhere and filling up with some top tier 93 and being done. I have 3 vehicles and don't want to worry about E85 sitting in the fuel system over the winter as well.
