Dw95 injectors with whipple rails

Bought some Dw 95 lb/hr injectors last year and just getting around to installing them now. Changing out the 38 lb/hr magnetti marelli injectors. The DW injectors sit out of the fitting higher and when the rail sits on top it’s about a quarter inch higher than the mounting holes on the whipple. Did I buy the wrong injectors? Or do people let the rail just float on the injectors without being mounted? Dw part number 17U-04-0095-8

Remove the caps (spacers) from the injector.
