Dumb Question About TPMS For Different Wheels

I have the factory 18" wheels on my 2022 GT Convertible. I really want to upgrade to the 20" OEM wheels and I've been scouring classifieds and Ebay for several months. I found a set on Ebay (link below) with tires and the seller claims they are basically new car take offs however they do not come with TPMS. My question is it the same part number for the TPMS for the 18" and 20" OEM wheels where I could just use my current sensors? Obviously I would need to have a tire shop switch out the sensors. I know it's probably a dumb question but I don't know much about TPMS.

Yes you can, sensors are the same regardless of of wheels size

Your TMPS are 8 years old and are getting close to their life span , I would buy new . PM me if you're interested , I have brand new Ford mfr date 1-2026 I didn't use , make you a deal .

Yep, I agree its a good idea to go with new sensors if your currents are that old.

I appreciate the offer but how are my current sensors 8 years old? The car was a late build 2022 that was purchased in January 2023 so they're just over 3 years old.

You're right, I glossed over the details and just saw someone mention your TPMS sensors were old, sorry!

I would still buy new sensors for the new ones rather than removing your old ones. I mean they're cheap enough.

I can understand that, it would probably be easier anyway. I'm still not sure if I'm buying the wheels and the seller does have a good rating on Ebay. But I always worry about getting something with undisclosed or unknown damage like a bent wheel or something.
