About a week and a half ago I installed the Ford Performance Power Pack 3 on my 2016 GT. A couple days later I left on a roughly 900 mile road-trip. As far as I could tell, everything was normal until I arrived at my destination. Just as I was pulling off the highway I noticed a CEL. I used the Procal tool and learned that the car was throwing a P0443 code "EVAP System Purge Control Valve 'A' Circuit". I've cleared the code a few times but it keeps popping back up. I even re-flashed the Ford Performance tune in hopes it would fix the problem. I also unplugged, blew out, and re plugged in the electrical connection on the side of the new throttle body. I'm currently at a loss. If any of you have any advice on how to clear/fix the code please let me know!

The PCM can't communicate with it. If the wiring/fuse is good, replace the valve.

The purge solenoid is right behind the throttle body. When installing power pack 3 where you replace the intake manifold and throttle body its possible the connector wasn't pushed back in all the way or maybe hose connected to it is kinked or not connected to it.

Also, if you top off" your gas tank while fueling, that can cause it to fail. They aren't very expensive or hard to replace. It's worth a shot...

I've done the gt350 manifold swap and you gotta relocate the purge valve this requires an extension I don't know if the ford kit includes this extension or not. If your tech didn't use this extension or tried to stretch the wires he might have pulled one of the pins out. Check the harnesses for this. It's a simple circuit. It will either have a constant hot or ground. And the other will be sent by the pcm when certain parameters are met.

Thanks for all of the responses!! So just to be clear, the connector that is responsible for the code is the one behind the throttle body that needed a jumper and not the one that plugs in to the left of the throttle body? I’ll attach some pictures later. Thanks again for all of the insights!!

on the gt350 manifold the purge valve is relocated to right behind the throttle body. It's a 2 wire connector plugged into a small black valve with a plastic hose going to it with a green lock. Check that connector and the extension.

Okay here’s an update! I double checked all the hoses and connections. Everything was plugged in correctly. I unplugged and blew out all the connections relating to the valve. A couple hours later I fired her up and didn’t have a check engine light. I drove to Walmart (10 min drive) and didn’t have a check engine light the entire drive. I went inside, bought some groceries (20-30 min) and after starting the car up to head home noticed that the check engine light was back. Any ideas?? Sorry for the billion questions. Thanks for all of the responses!!!

My only guess is that maybe when the purge valve was relocated maybe a wire got damaged or unseated in the connector. It seems like if it goes away and comes back a lot then it would be an intermittent issue like that. Could try gently tugging on the wires going into the connector and see if one of them is broken or not.

Or maybe the purge valve itself needs to be replaced, not entirely sure to be honest.

Did you do the power pack 3 install yourself or did you have a shop do it? If a shop did it, you could see if they could take a look as it was likely caused by the relocation you have to do for the install.
