DTC code clear vs kam reset

Hi
So I’ve had this issue for ages where the car runs great and you stop the engine and restart a runs sluggish.

I did a dtc reset with no codes and the engine runs great again.
but obviously nothing is reset except the rediness monitors.

would this narrow my problem to potentially being the O2 sensors?.

I would reset the KAM using FORscan.
