Friend of mine from work has a 2015 PP1 GT that only has a few mods on it, no tune. Drop in K&N, Eibach Sportlines, 1" spacers, Corsa Extreme, and some appearance changes (emblems etc.)

His car in comparison to mine pulls like a freight train down low. The difference in the transmission gearing is huge and makes a far bigger impact than I thought it would.

I'm definitely moving to 4.09's in my 2019 PP1 to get that feeling, this sealed it.

I had the same feeling when I test drove a 2019 manual and compared it with my 2016. Then I drove one with the A10.....

This is very sad to read. I had to put a 3800 stall in my 15 to make it feel like it pulled down low. I guess it's all what your used to.

I hear ya', and I feel the same to some extent but the numbers show that we have the power and that the gearing is not hurting the acceleration:

Both PP1, assume 3.73 gears
2015
C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 4.5 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 10.4 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 17.8 sec
Rolling start, 5-60 mph: 4.9 sec
Standing ÂĽ-mile: 13.0 sec @ 113 mph

2018
C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 4.3 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 9.7 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 16.4 sec
Rolling start, 5-60 mph: 5.1 sec
Standing ÂĽ-mile: 12.6 sec @ 115 mph

The only place where the '18 is slower is 5-60 and 0.2 seconds is probably not enough for the ol' butt-dyno to detect.
Do we have an acceleration recorder in the "Track Apps"? I can do some 5-60 runs to see just what the average G force is.
